Yoga!!

I bought a DVD a while back and forgot about it, but decided to give it a go today and I loved it! I loved all the flexibility stuff, but I loved the way it made me feel even more! Without wanting to sound cheesy, it felt almost spiritual I felt so chilled out and kind of at peace! I shall definitely be doing it again!

Oh, that sounds nice. Which DVD was it, if I may ask? Does it have different levels? I've always wanted to give yoga a try. I did do some of the easy moves from a book I bought, but that was many years ago already.

It was a reebok one I got as part of a set, it's only got the 1 level, but for now it's all I really need whilst I try and get my flexibility back and strengthen myself a bit! If I really get into it I'll probs get another one at some point!

That is my issue, to get my flexibility back to where I would like it to be. It is amazing how fast your muscles tighten up when you haven't stretched them out for a couple months. It's like starting all over again.

This is exactly what I need, too. I'd like an easy yoga routine on a DVD that would get me to stretch those long muscles. My arms and shoulders are really stiff, especially in the morning.

I used to be super flexible when I was younger cos I did a lot of dancing, but now I'm just really flexible in the places I don't want to be. I'm hypermobile and my knees/ankles/hips are the worst affected, so hopefully if I work on my strength it'll help stabilise the joints!

DVD wise, you can usually find DVDs on YouTube or at least videos if people doing the DVDs so you can check them out before you buy!
