Fighting Boredom

How do you fight boredom during cardio workouts? If I have to spend 40 minutes on an exercise machine I go nuts and I find myself making excuse to avoid it. I do better in classes.

If I'm on a machine, I watch TV. I don't usually use machines, though. I'm more of a DVD person and I fight boredom with those by doing a different one everyday.

I get bored without music and prefer to have my earphones in ... even at the gym although the music is on in the background I plug my earphones in and listen to it through there

I just do cardio I enjoy.....a full on, a 1 hour high intensity dance class flies by!! loud music, disco lights and good banter, feels like a party not a workout (apart from being soaking wet with sweat at the end lol) its something I look forward to everyweek not dread
