New to exercise

Hi

Iím 53 and not exercised since burning my gym knickers on leaving school in 1981.

I want to start an in home exercise programme for a very overweight stiff over 50 year old with no co-ordination.

Any tips where I start......

Thanks x

Debz would you consider leaving the home? I see many 50 - 60 - 70 do strength and conditioning although where I live there is a good selection of coaches but I know at least 2 of them have over 50 classes although you can be over 50 to join the other classes... I was an over weight unfit starter and my coordination and balance is awful, still is but I love it and it's improved all factors.

I don't think from your post you have to specifically look for something to match your age, whats age? It's the same goals in general. We all start somewhere

Going on walks, short and/or long, would be a good start. Low impact exercise and the fresh air.

By enrolling in a gym you can get a trainer couple days who listens to you and creates a work out regimen that invigorates you, plus it's even cooler when you show them that it's never too late to kick in a sexy look.
