Fall weather for hiking!

This is the best weather for hiking in my opinion. I think it's probably the best time to get fit because nobody can see all the fat on me. Sad but oh so very true! Summer time can be really brutal if you're overweight.

It's also the best time because you don't sweat as much with the cooler temps. I love hiking in the fall. There is something very comfortable about wearing a sweatshirt. I also love to hear the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet.

Rumor has it that the cooler the temperatures, the more calories you burn because your body burns more calores trying to keep itself warm. That's why it's great to get outside and exercise in the colder seasons.

It really is the best weather! I love walking in autumn and winter as I don't get as hot and it's just so good seeing all the leaves etc!

I agree. We recently went up to the mountains to look at the leaves and hike around, and it was spectacular. It's not too hot so I'm sweating, but also not cold enough that my asthma kicks in.
