Tummy shapers for under a dress

Has anyone ever used one? I have a nice size now and a dress to wear to a couple of parties but the bottom of my baby belly still needs some serious toning, I understand sometimes you just can't get it fully toned so I was wondering who has used tummy shapers / trimmers / knickers? Do they work? Some are mega £££ especially spanx! Ouch ...

Yes, I have a Spanx shaper, but I absolutely hate wearing it. I admit it smooths things nicely under a dress, but it is so uncomfortable that I kept getting tempted to go into the ladies room and tear it off. Unless it is a one piece, there is always going to be some sort of bulge where the garment ends at the waist. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

I always see these but I have never tried one on before. It looks like in most ads and the commercials they work great. My question is, how do you keep it hidden during say a date night?

I've got one that's like a dress, built in bra the lot! I got it in new look I think! I've got a pair of blummin expensive knickers too, but didn't last long in them cos they hurt! IMO the knickers are a waste of time cos they either push the fat up, or roll down and dig in!

I've purchased one that is like a band not knickers. Is the general rule to shape or suck in a bit too? I once heard to get a size lower than you are?

Lol @ a date ... Turn lights out run in bathroom and hide it in ur handbag? Pahahaha

Mine shapes and sucks in too, kinda just pulls it in and makes it firmer rather than flabby

Size down I think and shoehorned myself into it! I think I got a 12 and was a 14-16, may have been in denial slightly

Best prices are online, but it is really hard to buy something like that if you can't try it on. With the one piece shapers, it will matter if you have a high waist or how tall you are.

I've worn one before for a special event but didn't enjoy it one bit!
