Bedtime hunger is something that I really struggle with. Recently I have been eating peanut butter on oatcakes before bedtime which seems to help and I just make sure I save enough calories for it in the day. Hot drinks can also help.

That sounds like a really good idea. Peanut butter and oats are both very filling, so I imagine that a little would go a long way toward making one feel full. Thanks for the suggestion!

I had some banana and peanut butter just before bed last night and woke up absolutely starving this morning! So the eating before bed and being full doesn't work for me!

I usually end up eating some cheese and a couple savory crackers. That usually holds me over so at least my stomach stops making noise.

Thanks, Bluebird, that's a good idea. Cheese is really filling, and for me, if it's a sharp cheese, I don't have to eat very much to feel satisfied and full.

Womens health claim studies say hunger for sweet, salty and starchy food peak at 8pm and cheese is the best option for night time nibbles as its practically carb free and suggest babybels at only 60 calories
