Anyone try the yo-yo dieting?

I use the yo-yo diet about three times a year, and it always works for me. I hear many people say that when they stop, the pounds pile back on quickly. I say, it works because of how the body's metabolism is temporarily confused. What I do for success is stick to a good exercise routine and drink plenty of water.

Is that the same as zig-zagging calories? I've heard that its very effective, particularly if you are struggling to shed off those few remaining stubborn pounds.

I haven't heard of this. I'll have to do a little investigating. All references I've ever heard to yo-yo dieting meant that your weight went up and down and it wasn't a good thing.

This must be something different.

I have done 'to you dieting' in the past although not really on purpose. I've never heard of this particular method though!

Yes it's the same as zig-zagging calories. The idea is to confuse the bodies metabolism by changing the types of calories going in. That way, the metabolism stays on alert mode and is always working at peak. It's a fast way of losing weight.

I yo-yo every week and always add something naughty in especially after being extra good... weekends (usually Fridays) are my naughty days and I try to be sensible but enjoy my weekend food and drink wise, just be more relaxed.

Don't they say if you go without say chocolate or cake then all of a sudden have it it can boost your metabolism? Something like that or I imagined it
