Chinese

Need some advice please, i'm feeling really positive about my weight loss at the moment, but summer is approaching and i have family coming over for a week and they'll probably want to go out, usually have chinese cos that's what the kids like, can anyone tell me what the least damaging chinese food is? It all seems really greasy to me now, i'm following slimming world, any advice would be much appreciated thanks 😎

I believe chow mein is the preference among many but to be honest if it's an occasion sometimes I just go with the flow with just the following rules:
No fried rice
No batter
Nothing too sugary - Sweet an sour

I always have boiled rice but you know what if I fancy noodles I'll have noddles.

If you are extra good (which it sounds like you are) believe it or not having something off the scale can actually have a good effect ... it's called a refeed and in short increases your metabolism. Obviously you use these days with some self control.

Enjoy time with your family whatever you pick from the menu x

I created it a while ago for a guide to what syns values people could expect. If there's anything not on those lists, just let me know

I usually go for a black bean tofu kind od dish and steamed rice, or curried veggies. I dont know how good the sauces are for you but cutting out the meat i would imagine cuts out a lot of the fatty party of your meal if you can do wirhout xx

Generally the meat in Chinese food is pretty lean, especially if you go for chicken. It's the deep fried or sweet dishes that sting with Slimming World!
Those cursed spring rolls
