Sounds quite a good diet. The 5:2 diet is a bit slow for someone like me who can put back several pounds in one slip up but Alternate Day might be viable. I like anything that claims to effect genes so going to give this a go until can start on my crazy Madal Bal detox again.

Sounds like a lot of medical work has gone into this one. Seems predominantly aimed at health benefits first weight loss second. Am starting fast day today 2 tins of Heinz Big Soup and couple of coffees is just under 600 cals so easy start. If it works out well might use my remaining Madal Bal for fasting days as that is about 500 cals/day. Although the lure of a quick 3 stone weight drop is a bit hard to waste.

Been doing this for few days, well not super strictly as had a few social events. Not had massive weight loss but it is going down. Have had a number of health improvements in a very short time though. So big cheesy seal of approval from me
