What do you eat on really hot days?

August is the hottest month of the year here so I plan to stick with cold foods and leave the oven off if possible. That means a lot of lettuce salads and tuna, chicken, and egg salads. I also like a nice fruit and cheese platter on a hot day with a hummus or yogurt dip.

What do you like to eat on a hot day?

I like to eat fruit and low calorie frozen bars for snacking. My meals are usually light, like mixing up a bunch of veggies with tuna.

When it's cooler at night, I boil the eggs and cook my chicken to make into salads. Anything to keep it from getting too hot in here and having to run the air conditioner as much.

Ice cream would be nice but it's not on my diet. I have made some really tasty smoothies with almond milk, yogurt, and ice cubes blended together.

I like to eat salads, wraps with turkey, chicken, ham, and a lot of vegetables. I also like to drink tons of water as well. I think that is highly underrated. People are always dehydrated and they don't even realize it. Drinking more water will cool you down immensely!

I like to eat fresh garden salads whenever I can get them but they taste even better in the summer. Yogurt is good for summer and I like to do outdoor grill type foods too. When it's hot I go through tons of water and gallons of ice tea.

We do a lot of salads, light sandwiches, and wraps when it is hot. I also lie to do smoothies with ice cubes for a refreshing snack and sometimes for breakfast.

Eating hot foods on hot days doesn't bother me too much

But I do also like salads, frozen fruits, frozen yoghurts, cottage cheese and cold cooked meats.

There's just something about stews and casseroles that taste nicer in winter though

I find it much easier to lose weight in the summer because, like you mentioned, you want to eat salads and you can bulk up on meals without adding too many calories. I also find that sweet things are lower calorie in the summer such as ice lollies (even those with icecream in them). My favourite at the moment are Twisters. I'm not sure if you get them outside of the UK? They are only 90 calories per lolly and they have been a fantastic help to me and have probably accounted for about 10 lbs of my weight loss so far lol .
