Five Best Summer Foods

This Women's Health article is about the five best summer foods for weight loss according to a dietician at a leading New York City hospital.

On their list are cherries, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, raspberries, and iced green tea.

I think an iced green tea infused with cherries and raspberries sounds pretty good right now with a side salad containing jalapenos and tomatoes.

Spicy foods are great for killing your appetite. I don't know what it is, but hot peppers keep me from snacking--mostly because they burn my mouth!

I can definitely get behind raspberries and green tea. Those are two of my favorite things.

I would go ahead and add red leaf lettuce, spinach, kale, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, and a nice homemade sun tea! We used to make those and let them sit out in the sun all day. Oh man, that used to taste so good.

Sounds good! We have a cherry tree in the garden but the birds have eaten them all this year

I love all the foods on the list
