Your Daily Food Plans on 5:2 Diet
For anyone who has done/doing the 5:2 can you give me some example of your food plans on fasting day?
My problem is coffee, I seriously cannot do without one in the morning with 1 sugar and rice milk
at least it's not 2 sugars and cows milk now ha!

i take my coffee first thing black splenda and a dash of whole milk ( don't forget wobbles even with the 5:2 diet you don't have to do 500 on the dot ! sometimes i am at 550 or600 calls for the day and i had achieve same results more or less if you need yu coffee with sugar its not a big deal
Anyway :
7 AM - 8 am Coffee with a dash of milk but i don't count the cals for that
10 AM i have a plain whole grain toast usually the slice will average at 100 cals
noon lunch i eat a lot of veggies like cucumber slices salad also you can do a slice of Ham etc but my lunch will average about 150 cals or 200 cals
Dinner is usually a bowl of veggies soup or white chicken breast ( usually those average about 130 cals /150 cal and a type of veggies.
but I will said most of my fast day average 600 cals
My first week was really hard ...
but i did fast on Monday and thursday ( monday was easy as usually after the week end i always feel like i need to fast
! and thursday because you know on Friday you have to have a drink !!!
i did it for about 6 weeks the 5:2 and still do it here and there to check up my body when i hit a plateau

also i bought a pre made vinaigrette that is 30 cals for 2 tablespoons to drizzles on salads
but with the veggies you really have to stick to salads cucumbers things with a lots of water as carrots , brocolis for example do have more calories and they can add up for the day

oh if i am hungry i will do a apples for snack as usually that is 100 cals
How are you finding the result of doing it?
And you just have a chicken breast alone? Eek lol

with a little salad or soup but yes the answer on fast day you barely eat i am afraid ! lol
result for me was i lost about 5 solids pounds during it. I will said it really teach me that I can do a fast when need be to reset my body ( you know its kind of a detox so to speak ) you kind of teach your mind and body that you can do it and resist.
You see for this week i pledge the no alcohol no carbs no sugars and in a way i am doing a title bit of the 5:2 as i reduce the amount of eating so i lost 2 pounds already this week but i was available to do it as i have done fast day so i know i can
.
The 5:2 also made me drink way more herbal tea and water and i never being good at that so on those day i force myself drinking water to curb my appetite !
Question is could we just reduce the amount of food we eat during the week and get the same results as loosing pounds wise ...probably but with the 5:2 i think it really condition your mind to resist bad food for 2 solids days
I just ate Apples in the morning and nothing else, and having slimmest body
I want to try this next week or at least 1 day of fasting to see how I go any way. I've yet to figure out what I'm going to eat... Or not eat
