Foods that make you bloat!

I've never really noticed by evening the effects certain foods have on me until last Wednesday night when run club is 8pm, I usy wear my looser top but decided to wear my nice new small strap vest top ... I was REALLY bloated, like a 6 months pregnant kind of look.

A couple of hours before I had eaten chicken, salad bits and some white pasta (pasta salad).

If I'd wore my baggy top I just wouldn't have really clicked but I'm assuming I have a little bit of intolerance to white pasta

Does anyone else have the same issue with certain foods?

I always find that foods such as bread and pasta bloat me immediately upon eating them!
Carbs seems to be a big bloater for me!

It's dairy for me I didn't realise til I cut it out for 2 weeks how much it bloats me, but it was ridiculous! I'm craving cheese so bad right now and OH's started making mochafrappachinos with ice cream which look amazing! I've just done a tour of local shops trying to find dairy free ice cream, but I'm going to have to go to a proper supermarket!

White bread seems to bloat me a bit too, but I don't tend to eat it too much!

My dairy is in moderation but wow I couldn't believe it that day, that said it was pasta, mayo, grated cheese in there ... either way I wasn't going out with a 6 month bump in that top

I hate that when you really want to wear something and you're dead bloated! I always find I eat something that bloats me when I'm at work in a tight top and can't get home to change!

I totally agree with the white pasta and bread causing bloating. Dairy does it for me too, so if I have a pasta dinner, with garlic bread (and cheese) and a glass of milk, I am done for!! And with the bloating, all those foods make me incredibly gassy also. I'm kind of glad to know I'm not alone!

The bloating is a symptom of food intolerance or sensitivity. I, for one, cannot handle gluten. Any food with gluten not only bloats me, but makes me gassy and sore (inflammation) as well. On top of that, grains in general seem to bloat me!! I've pretty much given up bread and pasta, gluten-free or not.

Yes, white bread for me. I can literally gain 4lbs overnight from eating pizza. It is just not worth it to me any longer, so I have completely eliminated white bread from my diet. I do not miss it. I do have the occasional whole wheat sandwich thin, but that's all.

I really wouldn't have noticed it had I not chose that top to run in that night. I would only have white pasta as pasta salad now so I'll keep an eye on it all I think. Nightmare!
