Could back pain be connected to weight?

It seems I am getting backaches a lot more lately. The last one was very painful, I could hardly move. I'm hoping that if I lose some more weight and get my exercises in it will get rid of the back pain. What do you think?

When I wasn't exercising enough, I experienced excruciating back pain. I sat at a desk all day for my job, too, which probably didn't help matters. I switched over to a yoga ball chair and it definitely helped with the pain. Moderate exercise helps, too. I hope you get to feeling better!

Once the pain is gone I think I will be doing more back strengthening exercises. I'm hoping to start swimming again which I hope will help. The back pain is keeping me from doing a lot of things I want to do and I don't want to be taking pills to get rid of it.

I've had back pain since my first daughter which I totally put down to an epidural, we bought quite an expensive mattress which did help me sleep better but since exercises I have to say it really has helped a lot... I use a machine at the gym called 'upper back' and I also swear that helps x
