Breaking a plateau?

I've hit this place where I have lost the first few pounds I want to, but now it seems like no matter what I do, I'm stuck. Any input on how to mix it up, without being at the gym for 8 hours a day, so that I can get back to losing steadily?

What exercise do you do? How frequently and for how long etc

Have you increased exercise recently?

What diet do you follow

I have that problem too. Usually if I just keep sticking with what I have been doing then I'll drop a couple more pounds. It's very discouraging. Hang in there.

I've been doing something similar to Atkins, low carbs, high protein, lots of veggies. I eat about 2000 calories a day and I work out 3 or 4 times a week. I have to be careful with my knees, they're a little delicate, so I do elliptical, low impact aerobics and lots of walking. I haven't changed anything lately, especially my weight! Grrrr.....
