My food diary!

I'm trying to clean up my eating and though a food diary would help me! It means you can all poke me if I'm being naughty

Today's been better than normal, but I had a couple of slip ups and had an easy tea as my friend came over and I was starving

B: bran flakes
S: malteasers bar, granola bar
L: wholemeal pitta with beetroot/cannelini bean/mint hoummus, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and beetroot
S: costa mocha cooler
D: pizza with olives

So it's not been amazing, but it's better than a normal work day for me! I'm hoping stopping choosing easy foods all the time will help me drop a few more lbs to take me to my next target, which is between 2 and 5lbs away dependent on the rubbish I've eaten the day before!

It looks to me like you're doing pretty good! Bran flakes are high in fiber and the milk that goes along with it is high in protein. Sounds like you got plenty of veggies at lunch between the hummus, lettuce, cucumber, and beet root, too. It's about progress, not perfection!

Thanks Hun! I love that about progress not perfection! I just need to stop picking up rubbishy snacks all the time, the amount of times today I've stopped myself reaching for a bit of Easter egg is unreal! And all those little bits really add up.

Today so far:
B: 2 slices wholemeal seeded batch toast
L: HUGE salad with couscous, lettuce, beetroot, tomatoes and cucumber!

I've been so excited for it all morning and it's blummin lovely! Not sure about dinner yet, probably something like pasta and sauce!

I kinda chuckled ... it goes good bad good bad hmmm lol but yep progress not perfection, I'll never be perfection as far as food and drink goes

High cocoa dark chocolate PP ... if anything choose this, in moderation though chick

At least it shows the intention of being good was there

Dinner tonight is homemade kidney bean and carrot burgers with sweet potato chips! Waiting for the kids and OH to get back from the shop with my sweet potatoes though, so I'm eating their mashtags

I've even got some berries out the freezer to have with soya yoghurt instead of crap the evening!

Oh and yes, dark chocolate! Will be gettin some! I never used to be a chocolate fan, but can't get enough ATM!
