What is the lowest you have gone?
I know a few years ago when I dropped down to 1500 calories a day for a while I had some bad timing and got really sick. I think being a little sick followed with a low calorie diet is what did me in. What is the lowest anyone here has gone per day and how long did you do it for?

Depends on your height, age, current weight etc. 1500 calories is not a low calorie diet for almost any woman, and even for some men.
I would doubt that the 1500 cals are what did you in, but if you are a 6ft 6 in female, 300 lbs, competitive weight lifter and marathon runner, it might have been :-)

The lowest I have gone is 600 calories a day which consisted mainly of pasta as it was filling. Yes, I was very stupid. And I was burning calories with lots of walking and exercise bike too. This was 3 years ago and I just shake my head when I think of how stupid and unhealthy it was. These days I am eating around 1800-2000 per day and mainly losing a little or maintaining, as I do weights and other exercise. I do it so much more healthily these days and feel so much better for it

The lowest I've ever gone was about 800-1000 a day, I think. I was doing Nutrisystem but not supplementing with the grocery add-ins like you're supposed to.

I went on the Cambridge Diet for about a month. Think that was 500 calories. But that was too much.

If I remember right, it was 500 calories for the first week (could have been 2 weeks) until you reach ketosis and then you can have a meal in the evening (restricted to no carb foods). Was a while ago so the details escape me. Was doing a skydive for charity and needed to lose a stone in a month. Was hell, but it worked lol.

Damn it. Read the title and thought it was about lowest in weight and was ready with a quip about being 7lb 10oz once
I don't think I've every been able to keep count long enough to work out how many calories I have a day. That's why slimming world seems to suit me

1200 calories is lowest I've gone I'd say some days even now are as low as this depending what's on the menu.

I caught some type of kid given illness (I was volunteering at a school then), never recognized the signs of being sick and ended up with pneumonia which make the weight drop quicker. I think I have dropped down to 800 a few times but not a great deal. 1500 is average, I could drop down to 1000 but when I was really eating I could do 3000 in a sitting.
