I think about food too much
It occurred to me that I spend an awful lot of time thinking about food. Either I am thinking about what I need to buy the next time I go shopping, or I am thinking about what I will be making for lunch or dinner. When I'm not doing that, I'm looking at different recipes I want to try.
Do you think naturally thin people spend so much time thinking about food? I don't think that they do. I've got to train my mind to focus on other things.

Well, it's something we all have to think about. And when you're dieting, you do have to think about think about food constantly--what meals to make, how many calories are in a dish, what you can eat, what you can't. Making conscious decisions around what you eat requires a lot of thought!
Honestly, I think it's a good thing. I have trouble coming up with idea for meals or things that look good. I wish I was more of a foodie!

I'm constantly thinking about food too! It drives my OH mad, cos I'll be asking him at bedtime what he wants for dinner the next night I seem to be constantly thinking about the next meal, even if I'm not hungry!

I wish there was a way that I can stop thinking about it so much. I know planning is an important part of the weight loss process, Poppy is correct about that, but sometimes it seems like I am obsessed with what I'll be eating tomorrow rather than worrying about what is happening right now.

I think a lot of people think about food a lot, even very thin people. I know I am always thinking about food, whether it be something I'm craving, or reminding myself what I need to make for dinner. It is completely natural, but controlling those food cravings is where the hard part comes in.

I too seem to be thinking about food way too often. I can finish lunch and then I think about what we will have for dinner. I started making meal plans for dinner. I thought this would help but it isn't. I still think about food all the time. I am either planning my grocery list. My kids think I'm crazy too!
