Scottish Slimmers

Hi all, I'm new to the site and just starting to find my way about it - wondering if anyone is following Scottish Slimmers. I've always been a SW girl, but decided this was the year to try something different

I've never heard of it. What kind of diet rules are involved?

Good luck and welcome to the forum

It's fairly big in Scotland, although does have a following outside as we'll it seems. I had friends use it a number of years ago and did well on. They did a big article in Daily Record/Sunday Mail just after new year, needless to say I'd already paid up so couldn't take advantage of the offers!!

It's primarily based on calorie counting. 25cals = 1 "check" and you are allocated a number of checks based on your weight, mine is 45. I think the weight range for that is 10-13 stone. You also get 2 portions of fruit, a calcium and some veg to use up. There's some veg which is "no check" (free in SW lingo) but others do have a value. It's not as big as WW or SW but thought there might be some members on here.

Looking forward to finding my way about the site (and hope it's as useful to me as a certain other one was in my ttc and early motherhood days!! )

I have never heard of the diet, but if you like the way it sounds, I say try it.
