Pressure points for hunger control

I remembered hearing something about there being an area by the ear that suppressed hunger if you pressed on it. A girl I worked with was going to a weight loss clinic that had them use a clip that went on the ear. It was several years ago so my memory is hazy. I did a quick Google search for the pressure points and found these instructions. My ear and nose will be red by the end of the day.

That's interesting and very useful to know. It would be amazing if it turned out it actually worked for me. I will have to try it out and see. Thanks for sharing.

The link didn't open for me and it looks like the website is empty and blank. Maybe they are revising some of the website. I did manage to find something on this subject here.

Interesting! Thanks Avocado. I am going to have to try this. I hope it works but I doubt it. If it was this easy wouldn't we all be super skinny?

Interesting. I've never really thought about it before, even though I've been for acupuncture for headaches and it worked. Stands to reason that pressure-points work for other things. I've heard of hypnotherapy for dieting, I wonder if they do acupuncture for dieting :/

The link is working fine for me. Maybe you just had a momentary glitch?

Mitch - I bet they do have acupuncture for dieting. I can imagine them using the needles in these areas being discussed for acupressure.

I know a person that suffers from seasickness and she uses acupressure techniques for that. She even has a bracelet that presses on a certain part of her wrist.

I've heard about this and it's certainly worth a try for those times when guzzling down a bunch of water just doesn't seem to be working and it's not time to eat yet.
