How Was Christmas?
How was your Christmas? Mine was pretty good but I ate more candy than I meant to. I rather wish my mom hadn't sent me so many treats, but maybe I can pass them off to others. They are tempting, though.

It was great but insane! We actually had smaller portions on our plate compared to any other holiday and after almost a plate we were done. I did not try to go back for seconds until about 10 at night and I only had a little extra ham.

It was very good and I can't complain. Although, I will confess, I had a lasagna. But it was with turkey this time so it was a little more healthy! Okay, we had some regular spicy sausage in there too. (getting ready to do some exercise as I write this)

I had a great time but my god I ate so much! Christmas dinner was a three course meal at lunch. Then we had a big buffet in the evening. We have had a big buffet today and brought the leftovers home!

We had a really good Christmas. We visited with my hubby's family the day before (Christmas Eve) and then we were able to spend all of Christmas day at home. We slept in, ate breakfast, opened gifts, and watched Christmas movies for the rest of the day.

Most of the naughty food was crisps yesterday but the alcohol will definitely be adding a couple of lbs lol ...back to good tomorrow and a couple of shake days (breakfast and lunch)!

We celebrated on Christmas Eve. I didn't do too badly. Had some ham and roast beef and a little mashed potatoes. I splurged and had a couple cookies later. Not too much damage done.

I had a really lovely day! Which was topped off by my best friend getting engaged  I was quite restrained food wise, hot rolls with butter and jam for breakfast, a few snacky bits, huuuge plate of food for late lunch and then a few snacky bits later! Today I've done well as well, I had a bean/pepper/carrot chilli for lunch and just had yesterday's veg fried up! There may have been quite a lot of alcohol consumed though I've done well though, last year I just felt sick with the amount I ate!

I got so full! I just can't stuff myself the way I used to. I don't really feel like I ate all that much before I started to feel miserably full. I had some celery with cream cheese, ham, green and wax beans, a croissant, and some whipped potatoes. For dessert we had a pistachio pudding and various cookies. I came home with a little bit of leftover food, but mainly just the meat and vegetables. There were a lot of things I didn't even try because I just had no space in my stomach.
