The occasional drink or cocktail

Drinking is definitely something I am careful about because the calories add up fast and if I have a couple drinks I am more liable to just throw the whole diet out the window and start eating too.

I don't like light beer. I will usually have something mixed with diet soda or a white wine. Bloody Marys are good because the tomato juice is low in calories and high in vitamins so I'm getting something out of it at least. I love having eggnog for Christmas... but wow, that stuff is loaded with calories!

I'm interested to know what everyone else does when it comes to having drinks once in awhile especially with all the holiday parties going on.

Well, it's entirely unhealthy, but my drink of choice is irish cream, made by either Bailey's or Carolan's. It's a rare indulgence for me now, though, because 8 ounces of it has about 20 or 25 Weight Watchers points -- not much less than what you are allotted for an entire day!!

Hmmmm this is my fall down with dieting. I'm really bad when it comes to having a drink. I used to drink beer but I've swapped it recently to vodka and pepsi max. I'm not sure how many calories are in a glass but it's got to be better than beer.

Pepsi max has no sugar in it and clear spirits are meant to be the "better" out of all the alcohols, calorie wise.

I really, really like Bailey's Irish Cream. It's good by itself over ice and extra good when you put a little into some coffee. I haven't been drinking much at all, though. Maybe one or two drinks every several months. I like it but I'm not tempted by it that much.

Well, I would rather have a mixed drink because those usually have less calories than any beer that you will drink. Of course, it depends on how many drinks you have in total!

I like vintage cider or Baileys. I really do try to avoid the alcohol though because it gives me a bad case of the munchies and I just eat so much!

I love baileys! My usual tipple is red wine, but we've cut back on our Friday night pub trips recently! I always seem to have a bottle pf wine and then think a full meal from the take away's a good idea I have been trying to think a bit more and switching to a side dish though!

Oh, yes, Bailey's. I also like coconut or spiced rum with diet cola. I make sure to just sip on it and try to make it last awhile. I've walked around at parties with just diet soda in a glass and didn't really feel like I was missing out on much.
