Dieting on Your Birthday

Do you stick to your diet on your birthday or do you count that as a cheat day? I can see arguments for both sides, but it sure would be hard to maintain discipline on your birthday.

It's a cheat day for me, hands down. I always want to eat out, have a couple of drinks, and eat birthday cake with tons of icing, so I treat it like I do Thanksgiving and Christmas eat light for several days before and after. I also up the exercise that whole week.

I have never dieted on my birthday and usually use it as a cheat day!

When is your birthday? It would be hard to stick to a diet on that day. It's up to you whether you want to stick with your plan but I think you should have a little bit of fun and maybe have a tiny piece of cake at least.

I won't go mad and think I can eat what and how much I want but I will relax and enjoy my day, why not it's only 1 day a year.
