Quick easy healthy breakfast ideas

I really struggle with breakfast when dieting because I would rather have nothing.

What do you all have for breakfast?

I don't have breakfast. Toast and bread seem to stodgy, and I'm not a cereal person. Is breakfast really important when it comes to dieting?

Mitch, I've always heard that breakfast is "the most important meal of the day." Dieters who skip breakfast tend to overeat later in the day because they're starving by the time lunch rolls around.

Personally, I like to eat cold cereal with low fat milk and cut up fresh fruit in it.

Yeh I heard that too, but it's weird as I don't eat breakfast and also don't get hungry until about lunch time. In fact it's now almost 1.30pm and I'm about to have lunch and I haven't eaten anything today
That's normal for me. Where I mess up is the from mid afternoon until I go to bed

I'm not a big breakfast eater. I usually have to wait until I've been up for at least an hour and have had some coffee first.

I like yogurt with fruit or peanut butter on toast. If I have some hard boiled eggs already made, I'll eat one or two of those with some juice. On really cold days I like oatmeal.

I find that breakfast just makes me hungrier, but I find I do lose more weight when I eat breakfast. I like oatmeal, avocado on toast, fruit covered in natural yoghurt, boiled egg, etc.

To get your metabolism going breakfast is your must ... not eating breakfast doesn't help you lose weight more the opposite! Slimming world breakfast portions are small for those who want to go by that rules, bran flakes I have when I can be bothered (yes I am guilty of skipping although I don't advise it lol)... I think it was 30g allowed, really it's not much.

Scrambled egg is quick and easy?

I sometimes have a shake if not bran flakes

Hi Mitch,
When you want to lose weight, breakfast is very important because it will boost your metabolism. Eat 4or 5 small meals rather than 3 big meals, this way you never feel hungry!

Fry 2 eggs with a nob of butter, just before the eggs are ready sprinkle few drops of lemon juice over the eggs and serve on 2 toast....Yummy!!!
