One pound of fat

I only lost one pound this week. I was feeling totally discouraged because I was so careful about everything I ate and was certain I would lose more than that for all my efforts. But.... THIS puts it all in perspective and I feel pretty darn good about it now!

Wow! I've been wondering lately how much space a pound of fat takes up. Wild to think that five pounds takes up that much space!

Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I only lost 0.2 lbs last week. ;-)

That is great, azure! You're almost there! I wish I only had seven pounds to lose!

It's amazing how one pound of fat is so much when it's all put together into one big, ugly blob! That makes me feel a lot better about those small losses.

You can find a bunch of different pound images online. When I first saw the five pound one I almost started to do flips because of it. It really can add up quick!
