Big Snacker

I'm the biggest snacker in the world. A bite here and a bite there and pretty soon it adds up. Fresh fruit wouldn't be a bad snack but if there's chocolate around, I'll go to that first. Incentive is what I need. Help!

Could you maybe try substituting it with something? Water or juice? My major downfall is crisps, I try not to buy them, cos it's not unknown for me to make 20 odd bags disappear in 24 hours apart from that, I try and make sure we have healthy snacks in, fruit or rice cakes! Usually I just need something to take the edge off!

This always happens to me too! My snacks turn into meals. It's been this way for a while. I have a hard time grazing so I've pretty much gone back to three meals per day. I feel bad when snack time becomes meal time but it's not so bad since I live alone and am not letting anyone else down by not showing up for a scheduled meal.

Im the same, I get so hungry! I find it's best not to have unhealthy foods in the house as they're much too tempting.
Maybe a nice substantial snack like peanut butter on oatcakes would help, that's one of my favourite snacks

I bought a bag of caramel rice cakes this weekend to see if they will help my snacking on unhealthy foods. They taste pretty good and so far seem to satisfy those unhealthy cravings.

I've found that replacing unhealthy snacks with healthy snacks (celery, nuts, carrots, raisins, etc) helps me to cut back. I recently tried replacing chips with cereal, and I've found that it actually helps quite a bit when I'm in a snacking mood.

Find a way to get more flavor into the things you only sometimes eat. After I quit smoking flavor became my big thing to keep an eye on, if I could take something and make it 10 times better it became my new (healthy) snack.
