Tasty alternatives to chocolate?

Chocolate is my biggest weakness, and the one food I seem to struggle with most. Are there any good alternatives to chocolate that can help with the cravings?

Have you tried carob? I've had carob covered peanuts, pretzels, and raisins and they were all pretty good. There are also some good sugar-free diabetic type chocolates you can try.

How about peanut butter? I found these Peanut Butter granola bars at Wegmans that are fantastic. How about caramel? Or that nutella stuff? I haven't actually tried Nutella myself. I'm not sure if it has actual chocolate in it.

I don't think Nutella and caramel are a very healthy alternative. If you are going to eat those things, you may as well just eat the chocolate.

Thank you! I didn't know about carob--I'd thought it was the same thing as cacao! I'm definitely going to have to look it up and give it a try. I found a recipe for carob hot chocolate that looks like it might do the trick.
