As always on a serious note though, slimming world's butter chicken recipe's amazing, although it's mild and you have to marinade overnight! So probably just as useful!

I'm a curry lover so I don't understand how I missed this thread! Try out this curried mushroom recipe. It's quite simple to make, and it tastes great! There is an interesting article there too about the benefits of cumin as an antioxidant. I hope you'll try it out and enjoy it.

I enjoy sweet, non-spicy curries. I have trouble with spicier curries, which is a shame, because they are truly delicious! A friend from Japan introduced me to Golden curry, which is pretty simple.

--curry powder to taste
--1 sweet onion, sliced
--3 potatoes, diced
--2 carrots, sliced
--1 apple, sliced (any sweet apple will do)
--2 tbsp garlic
--Beef cubes
--Apple sauce, apple juice, or beef stock for a base. Any of these will do.

Step one: Brown beef with garlic and onions. Once cooked through, combine with veggies in a large pot. Keep on medium-low heat for one hour. If the sauce doesn't thicken to your liking, pour 1 cup sauce into a bowl and whisk in 1-2 tbsp gravy flour.

Serve over rice and enjoy!
