Freezer/Batch Cooking - Need Inspiration!

All right pals and gals, I need your input. I've got an upcoming Sunday that I want to spend batch cooking in order to have my dinners ready in the freezer for the week ahead.

I'm already going to whip up a massive batch of Hidden Speed Veg Tomato Sauce as suggested by the lovely Sarah, but I'd love it if I could get some inspiration for your favourite recipes that are freezer-friendly. I've done batch cooking before but that was all things like thai green curry (I miss coconut milk), chicken casseroles bursting with dumplings (I miss the hell out of dumplings) and such like.

I'm fine with spicy, I'm allergic to raw onion, and I absolutely detest vegetables of most kinds (apart from mushrooms and some kinds of potato) if they're not in something, like blended up into a sauce. No peppers or cauliflower please!

Hit me with it

Shepherds/cottage pie is always a good one!
I love casseroles too, and curries
Pasta bakes are good, and the usual bolognese and chilli.
Soup is a great idea! I don't like leek and potato frozen, but the others I've done have always been fine

Do you know, I was thinking about making a cottage pie but I didn't know if you could freeze it and hadn't bothered to Google it yet. Thanks for the recommendations!

I think I'm going to perform a little experiment next weekend... I'd like to try and balance out how much red meat I'm eating with some more white meat, so I might attempt some sort of hybrid shepherd's pie with pulled chicken instead. Would probably work better as some sort of actual pie, right?

I made the cottage pie yesterday but without the kale as i didn't think my 5 year old would like it, i think there is probably about 4/5 portions left and that was taking 3 out of it, loads left.

My usual batch cooking is chilli and bolognese.

Need to look at soup recipes if any ones got some.

I ended up making chili con carne, thai green curry, sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry, a bean and sausage hotpot, and a big vat of Hide The Veg sauce which turned out to be REALLY filling

It's actually a Jamie Oliver one, here's the link: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/v...-spinach-curry

To make it more SW-friendly, I used the Sainsbury's rogan josh curry paste (1syn per level tbsp) and Alpro coconut milk as it is 1syn per 100ml. I halved the amount of spinach because that is a RIDICULOUS amount of spinach. I also got rid of the olive oil and onions, fresh coriander etc as I had dry cupboard ingredients and I hate onions. Came out tasting pretty nice
