So today I have home made bolognese with lean mince, mushrooms, carrot, celery and onion.

Sainsburys do a fab veg pack with finely chopped carrots, celery and onions which I will add the last 1-2 hours of slow cooking.

What kind of slow cooker do you have? Ive been thinking of slow cooking in the oven, dofferent method but could work quite well for large dishes I guess. Especially meat really benefits from it apparently.

That sound yum! I like making chicken or beef casserole in mine. It's so convenient for a busy day!

Sounds delicious, and apparently slow cooking is really healthy too!

I have a crock-pot I love my slow cooker and find it brings out the flavours in certain meals like curries, bolognaise and chilli!
