Candy Quick

I'm talking about the melting chocolate that sometimes goes by the brand name Candy Quick (or possibly Candi-Quick, I've never paid that close attention) or sometimes Wilson's melting chocolates. I've been craving chocolate covered strawberries lately and was thinking maybe I'd make a batch. My only issue is, how do you figure calories (or in my case, WW points) for a chocolate-covered strawberry when you really have no way to accurately measure how much chocolate is on each strawberry?

Is that a bar of chocolate you will be melting? You would have to guess. If you use 1/4 of the bar and melt it divide the calories from the packet info and the divide that with how many fruits you have dipped. It wouldn't be accurate but close to I am sure. So if 1/4 of the bar is 10 calories and you dipped 10 strawberries that = 1 calorie per strawberry even if my example is wishful thinking .

Thanks for that advice, Tinks. I didn't even think to look at it like that, but yes, it is a bar of chocolate so that would work perfectly! Even if I made the whole batch (which I am thinking of doing closer to Valentine's Day for a family get-together) I can just divide the total calories in the chocolate by however many strawberries are in the pint container. Thanks again!
