The WoBbLe 2020

I’m starting it now with goals and thoughts. It’s not a New Years resolution it’s a Charlene sort your shit out and feel good about yourself again but you like cheese and its Christmas and Christmas must have cheese and Prosecco because you like that too so start after it hahahah

Weight ... not in a great place but better than this time last year so not too bad. I dip in and out of bad food which is keeping me ‘level’ I think but food at works sucks big time.

Fitness ... total flop. Dipped in and out of some boxing fitness classes which I love but my buddy can’t go any more and she understands my broken shoulder, tried going back to CrossFit but can’t justify the time or I’m too tired therefore wasn’t worth it and I’ve had the occasional run (the word run is used lightly ). I work 2 days on 4 days off nd I go home exhausted, really doesn’t help then I want a lie in.

OHHHH and my home mini gym is set up at last, only been last couple of week. I have done 2 sessions but I am struggling to motivate myself (obviously LOL) and work out some routines in a smaller space, I feel I need help but not sure where to get some programmes dedicated to just me so each sessions works with the equipment I have.

ALSOOOOO ... target jeans are found.

Will update more thoughts and targets as I think of them! Right now I can honestly just say I feel shit about myself and massively fatigue.

I went to go out and use them the other day but I got distracted with house stuff and then lost motivation. I need to find it but I am out of work routine too after Christmas and I will be zzzzz

Current work mode coming up:
On shift now for 24hrs
Off for 2 days
On shift for 48hrs
Off 1 day
Back in for 24hrs
Off 3 days
.... then back to 2 in 4 off again! Can’t wait!

Well my shift changed and I am now in for 3 days ... for me thats better than home for a couple of hours and back the next morning and I get the whole Fri - Mon at home.

So my super cooll new bluetooth earbuds are charged at home and I've been working on some exercises I can do at home in my home mini gym setup. I just need to find a at work plan for a small room that I can't be jumping around in but to be honest I need cardio cardio cardio because I will die, I know I'm rubbish at it but it loses weight and I need WEIGHT OFF first before I do the 'burn fat not weight' goal.

Rambling.

After my 3 days in I have 4 days off, 2 days in then 10 days holiday. So by the end of those 10 days I should hopefully know what the hell I am doing... hopefully


Food...

Yesterday half an avo, x3 bacon and x1 egg on a slice toast followed by finsihing crap Christmas food during Mario Kart breaks HA!

Today will go to shit, I have goodies with me to get rid of and we are having a chinese takeaway buffet with mocktails to make for the evening ... I forgot my soup for lunch, argh!

Work is quite stressful atm so it’s a struggle with my motivation although I know it will help with stress. I’m off for 10 days and that’s when I really need to find my arse outside and then my arse doing some weights. I seriously need some early morning kick arse too. I remember the day I didn’t even need an alarm to bounce out of bed and get myself to the gym!

Well I am on day 6 of my time off and it hasn't gone as well as I'd have liked. I have ended up with problems in my ears so I have a steroid spray and I get frequent motion feeling, its not nice. It was especially bad before I got some treatment so that put a little hold on things!

I have tried to eat ok though.
Monday- Avo on toast
Yesterday - Madras curry with cauli rice

Monday I went for a boxing session, it was 6pm so I had food after. Today its 7pm so I am having a carb late lunch jacket potato and cheese with salad.

Plans for this week and progress:
Monday boxing #tick
Tuesday weights at home #fail ... had prosecco lunch with a friend
Wednesday boxing
Thursday Midday jog/sprint
Friday 6am walk jog with friend

So I went to boxing with my friend, she really enjoyed it too so it'll be great to have a permanent buddy. It was a bit of a boxing leg day.

Today I didn't go for my jog instead I'm going to do some arms in the home gym later, I really need to learn how to use the pulley system. Then another friend is contacting me later if she can make a 6am jog in the morning.

I've not eaten this morning so stupidly that resulted in me eating the galaxy bar m daughter gave me. Oopsie!

Dinner tonight is chicken, lemon and chilli spinach, spicy rice and eggs. I don't have much rice!

My intentions are failing but they are there.... plans changed yesterday or dinner would have been to late which I hate so decided to explore the cable machine at home today. Wasn't very successful on some exercises I wanted to do as I didn't realise I could only use the cable from high and low and not from the centre which is kinda annoying but I did find out I loveeeeeeee cable squats

Well end up a pretty good kick start week for me at last and feeling pretty motivated. I am however not sure how I want to monitor progress so for now will stick to how I feel and change if I don’t feel motivated enough from that.

My food has been good. I had an omelette when the others had cheesy mash and yorky puddings then on another day I had naked beef burger while the others had the work.

So ...
Monday I did a jog down to the costal path then did walk and sprint followed by Hatton boxing in the evening
Tuesday some weights at home exploring more workouts nd exercises using the cable system
Wednesday another jog to th coastal path and then walk sprint
Thursday I did a home workout with weights

So not bad. Today I could go for a jog while at work believe it or not but I’ve done 5 sessions over 4 days and I’m out tomorrow walking so I’m sat in car on the iPad resting instead. I will probably take a half hour walk soon to stretch my legs though. Start of my work dy went well foo wise ... I had some low fat mango yog for brekkie, a banana mid morning, prepped a 2 egg omelette and 2 rashers of bacon for lunch and have an apple for a snack.

I will add my cable and free weight workout to the next post
