Cycling or jogging - what's your vote
Biking and jogging are both great ways to lose weight and keep the weight off. Cycling is one of my favorite pass-times and it refreshes me and keeps my mind alert. However, I find that jogging is a better way to stay in shape because you work out the entire body while at it. Which do you prefer?

I would rather bike myself. My ankles and knees are not in the best of shape so anything with hard impact is going to leave me too sore to move after. With the bike I can take my time and hit more areas.

I'd prefer to cycle I think as I can't get on with jogging, but I'm scared of cycling cos of how busy the roads are round here

I prefer biking to jogging. I rarely run or jog. I usually power walk instead. I will bike around the local elementary school because it has a gigantic set of soccer fields and lush greenery. I prefer to bike because it puts less stress on my joints than jogging.

I like biking best. Biking is less tiring than jogging for me. I like the fact that I can slow down and almost coast along for a bit, drinking in the scenery. Walking is my favorite exercise, but it wasn't part of the poll!

We've got my MILs bike here for storage ATM, I'm very tempted to give it a go! It's been about 10 years since I last rode a bike though!

Think I mentioned similar not so long ago and once I realised the TM worked more areas than the bike I try to spend more time on that. x

Personally, I prefer jogging because the seats on bikes hurt my booty too much! I've tried upgrading and buying nicer seats but still, long rides leave me sore the next day.

I prefer the bike but I agree with Wobbles in that the treadmill/jogging will give a better and faster result. But the bike does work muscles that would surprise you xx
