Swimming

A friend has a membership to a gym with a swimming pool. I went with her yesterday. It's been a long time since I've been swimming. My muscles are sore. I used muscles I didn't even know I was using!

I love swimming but hate going as I always think others are going to be staring at my fat legs!

We have been thinking about joining a gym with a pool so that we can swim year round. We have friends that have pools we use in the summer months, but I miss it when the weather turns colder.

I love swimming because it works the whole body. I just haven't been able to get to a pool and it's been two whole years since my last swim. I need to convince my husband to build one in our back yard.

Swimming is actually one of the best forms of exercise there is. You get a full body workout but I don't believe there is anything that's lower impact than swimming so your joints are safe.

I love to swim and wish I could do it more often! The spa near my house offers memberships with access to their three large pools and many other amenities. Unfortunately, the monthly membership for a family of 4 is the cost of a used car payment, and a single membership just doesn't make sense.

I started a membership at the pool I mentioned earlier. They gave me a medical discount because the doctor recommends it for physical therapy. I've had two back surgeries and it's about the only exercise I can do right now. The water really helps me move without pain. They have a regular indoor lap pool and one of those heated therapy pools too.

Swimming is great exercise. I used to go a lot and am a strong swimmer, but I just don't have the time anymore with a toddler It's a shame as there's a swimming pool just down the road for me!
