I bought a pedometer!

I was inspired by people saying on a thread the other day about them and got curious and had to buy one I was pleasantly surprised! From about 1pm til about 8pm when the small one reset it, I'd done about 9500 steps!

My OH was taking the piss saying I looked stupid with it on, but sod him I'm looking forward to seeing how many I do today!

I think they say you should do 10,000 a day at least! The bloody thing's not been working properly today I forgot about it as well and went out for a big walk!

I got one free a few years ago, from Kellogg I think, when they were pushing their "Special K diet". It's 10000 steps, you are correct, and I'm ashamed to say that I never got up to that figure at all, so I stopped using it.

I love mine. I often find myself walking up/downstairs just to get extra steps

It says to clip it to the waist band on your trousers/skirt/whatever in line with where the crease is. I was just thinking before about whether you can put it in your pocket! Will give it a try tomorrow

I was finding myself walking round the house yesterday just to try and add on some more steps! I think I may get a tad addicted to the numbers

I am now inspired to buy a real one too. I use the one on my mobile phone but I seriously doubt its accuracy. The instructions are that I should put it in my pocket, but it counts all my movements as steps! I need one that can be as close to the truth as possible so that I can stop fooling myself.

The one I got was only a cheap one, so it's probs not too accurate! This has just reminded me I've not put it on yet! Off to find it!
