i'm one those weird people!

You know i'm one those weird people that loves out door fitness.
couple good reasons for that
Firstly and most important; i do it because i love it and i think if your doing what you enjoy its so much easier to stick with it long term.

second, i believe you will always get more out of real world training than a gym.
simply as you have something outdoors that you do not have in a gym.... the environment. all those little adjustments your body needs to do to compensate for the environment its moving through means your getting faster results for your time investment

outdoor fitness

Oh Wales is a beautiful part of the country, especially the snowdonia area. course snowdonia is on of the peaks that make up the three peaks challenge.
Challenges like that can be a good way, i think, of helping people toward a healthier lifestyle. Gives a goal to work toward.

That looks so pretty!

I've just signed up for a yoga/free run weekend retreat in the Derbyshire Dales in September. Really looking forward to getting out in the countryside. Also planning to get some walking in when I go to Whitby in April. :-)

I've been exploring Wales more ... so many gorgeous places to walk/trail.

Have you any suggestions?

I live in North Wales during the school holidays too It's amazing for hiking and there's such an incentive for walking when you know there's a beautiful view waiting for you!

Wobbles, have you done the walk up to Llyn Elsi in Betws...not hard if you're used to serious hiking up the peaks but it nearly knocked my lights out the first time I did it (as an unhealthy person not used to hiking)! Seriously steep!
