Yoga
I have been thinking about giving yoga a try, but I can't really afford classes. Can you teach yourself yoga or is it something that you need a class for?

I have a friend who taught herself using a combination of free online videos and a book from the library. You can't get cheaper than that! I imagine you'd have to watch the videos through a couple of times before trying the poses.

I've got a yoga DVD somewhere I think! It's something I've always wanted to get into, but never really gotten around to. I'd be too scared to go to a class, I always think of middle aged desperate housewives types when I think of classes even though I know it's not like that! Although around here, knowing the people that go, it probably is

I finally found some yoga classes nearby but once was enough for me. The class was full of thin, rich and snobby women. It wasn't fun for me at all! I picked up a couple of beginner routine DVDs and began following along with those for now.

I know there are several good yoga dvd's because I have friends who love yoga and do it at home. I would look on Amazon and do a search and read customer reviews. That is usually what helps me to make a decision on a workout dvd.

My class isn't like that, but I live in a general middle class area with no rich people haha! I do really enjoy it, I agree with above, it's good for the mind too
