Is there any hope for my tummy?

It's a mess with clothes on and stood up, it looks fine, but as soon as I take them off/sit down, it's a wreck my oldest was 9lb12 and really did a number on me! I've still got stretch marks on my hips that are an inch+ wide and the one's on my belly have kinda wrinkled up!

I'm riddled with loose skin too, I was showing my sister before, my lower belly (just above pubes) I can pull the skin out like 4 inches

Is there anything I can do, or is it forever going to be saggy? My sister said she thought I should ve able to get a tummy tuck it's that bad, but id be left with worse scars, plus I eventually want more babies!

Hiya hunny!

You mean the bottom of your belly? If so I have that, it can look smoother in pants but take the pants off and stand up... yuk! I wondered if it would ever go away and I don't know... some of it has gone but I'm not sure on the answer. Maybe when I see a PT next I could ask their advice, just hadn't got to it yet.

I'm not sure if your sister meant a tummy tuck on the NHS? If so I'd imagine it would need to be private hun! If I win the lottery I'll buy us both one

Admit I've not tried to pull mine but that surely makes you feel worse so STOP

I guess as long as I know I'm a nice weight that I am happy with and I am fit then it's just apart of my Mummy life x

Yea it's the bottom part that's worst, nut my stretchies go right up past my belly button I told my sis there's no way they'd do it on the NHS she's rather naive about things like that

Overall it doesn't bother me to much, cos like you said it's part of being a mummy and tbh I'm in the best shape I've ever been in! But I always just wonder if I'll ever get a nice toned tummy! I've felt loads better about it since the weather's been nicer and I've been in dresses - I should probs stop wearing jeans cos they really don't fit me right!

Thanks hun! I dunno how many times I've googled trying to find out! Everything I can find is how to lighten them though! I think even if I dropped my body fat and build a shed load of muscle it'd still be all saggy!

They do do it on the NHS, I know a few people who have had it done quite easily, but what's the point, its just cutting away the excess and pulling it a little tighter, Its never going to be as taught and firm, plus you're left with extra scars

It's not unrepairable but its a long and slow process, you just have to tone up slowly over time and give your skin a chance to "shrink" back as you lose weight/work on your tummy

Even my lower tummy is like that a bit lol, and look at the size of me

That's the thing, I'm not too bothered about the look of them, it's that everything just feels saggy I'm happier with them than I would be big scars from a tummy tuck, it just doesn't seem worth it iykwim?

I think the biggest gap between my stretchies is a cm, there's very little "normal" skin left! Bloody kids

I wish there was something that can be done! I have tried numerous different exercises but none are really targeting that problem area. I call it my pregnancy pouch! No matter how much weight I lose, it's still there. I wish there was something (non-medically or surgically) that could be done.

See mines not like the stereotypical pouches, I dunno how to describe it! Apart from shit and minging looking at it, I think it's my hips that are actually the problem area and it has a knock on effect, but god knows!

Ha! My hips are fine. I swear they got a bit wider though after I gave birth. I think this is normal though. I don't have any fat on them though. It's the "pouch" for me. Oh I should throw in my inner thighs too. I cannot seem to get rid of them for the life of me.
