Any runners? or how to become one?

i think when i am done with this pregnancy i will love to be a runner (outside) !

One of my best friend in San Francisco is one ..she is 44 years old and she is a real runner and in a best shape possible .

i think becoming a runner will be great for me be a big challenge but i think i am up for it !

i think its very powerful to be available to said or drop in a conversation " oh yes i am a runner ! "

I previously did C25k (couch 2 5k), it's a fab app. It goes in weekly stages and it works. I only did a few weeks, went away and never carried it on. Eventually I'll start it again but I know a lot of people who have successfully completed it and now run much further.

I keep trying, but get annoyed with myself cos I can't do as much as I want to! I did attempt c25k, but then just switched to running for as long as I could then walking! I'd love to be able to just go for a run ad run miles!

My OH is one, he doesnt have as much time for it as he used to, but just gradually built up distances by running round the parks near us. He ran a marathon earlier this year with only 2 practice runs in 3hrs 57mins Get some decent trainers and motivational music on an MP3 and you will be sorted

I don't run anymore because it hurts my knees, but there was a time when I managed to get myself up to four miles a day. It took a while, but I just added on a little more time each day until eventually I hit my goal. Just make sure you have really good, shock-absorbing shoes.
