You can engage in
HIIT workouts at various intensities, including:
1. Light-intensity activities are routine, everyday tasks that don't demand a lot of energy.
2. Your heart, lungs, and muscles have to work more during moderate-intensity exercises than they do during light-intensity exercises. Moderate-intensity exercise is a 5 or 6 on a scale of 0 to 10, and it causes observable increases in breathing and heart rate. While engaging in moderate-intensity exercise, a person cannot sing.
3. Your heart, lungs, and muscles work hard during vigorous-intensity exercises. A 7 or 8 on a scale of 0 to 10 represents strong activity. A person engaged in strenuous exercise cannot speak for more than a few words without pausing to take a breath.
