How long before the aching stops after strength training?

My program has completely changed and I feel like I've been doing the 30 day shred lol

I am doing like swiss ball squats with weights and thera-crunches an oh boy the top of my legs HURT. How long has it taken people to stop aching from new exercises. Have a feeling I'm going to be walking a little funny all weekend after tomorrows session

... or even how long did it take fro the aching to calm down from the 30 day shred, pretty much the same feeling!

Ouchy if it's bad usually 3-4 days

Do you take a recovery drink?

2 days normally if I go hard, if I'm not hurting then I don't feel like I've pushed myself enough

I once felt the pain for four whole days! that was after a month-long vacation where I hardly did any exercise. I've never tried recovery drinks; do they work and which one would you recommend?

I was using celebrity slim active because I was using them as meal replacements now and then (wasn't following the specific diet). Any protein shake, various places have good offers on.

This is going to hurt again when I go back

I hurt once for a week. I drink protein drinks daily or eat a protein bar and I still hurt for a week. That was after I doubled the number of squats I was doing.

It is usually about three days for me. I find the day after the day after to be the worst!

Depending upon the intensity of the session and how accustomed the muscles are to strength training, DOMS can take anywhere between 24-72 hours to subside.

Although, I certainly agree with Bevzii's suggestion that the 36-48 hour period afterwards can be the most painful.
