Treadmill boredom
This is my preferred means of exercise, but gosh, is it ever boring. It's kind of difficult to read while on a treadmill, and listening to music can get boring after a while, too. How do you guys switch it up and keep it interesting?

At the gym they have 4 TVs you can watch so I plug into the treadmill and pick a channel or one of the music channels. When I get a TM at home there's definitely going to be a TV in the same room... I love it when 2 half men is on

At my gym I watch the TV. They don't have plug ins so I have to read the subtitles on the TV, lol. Treadmills can be so boring

A treadmill that plugs into the TV...interesting! I've never tried it while watching anything. Maybe I'm missing out on something here. I wish I could have a treadmill at home--then I could have a tread desk and play on my computer while I walk.

I try and change the speed, and alternate as much as I can while setting a distance goal. I find I can get bored of the same music so always have to change my playlist!!

How about finding a topic you are interested in, then find some podcasts to download to your phone, and listen to them, education whilst walking on the treadmill, time well spent!!

I also switch up the routine. I like to speed up and change the incline often. I also watch TV or listen to upbeat music. I don't get bored when I do these things.

I do intervals (changing pace or incline), listen to music, watch tv... heck you could read a magazine if you want.
Pop a movie on... there are so many ways to entertain yourself when you're not really moving.

I never understood the treadmill thing. I look at all those people like they're gerbils or hamsters. If I'm gonna walk or run, I might as well do it outside (weather permitting of course).

I know what you mean by boring. I run to get it over with as quick as possible. I do what a lot of people do, I watch TV, but what works best for me is listening to music. I have a special selection of songs that are all high driving rock tunes. Also, I use visualizations like playing at the finals of Wimbledon or running the mile in the Olympics, I know this might sound strange, but it really helps me.
