First step is definitely to start with what you bring into the house. If it's not in the cupboards you can't eat it. The rest depends a great deal on your habits. Starting with what you do drink could be the easiest. See about making water your 'go to' drink. Then have a run through your most popular food choices and see what you can swap out for healthier alternatives. For example if you have a cereal bar in the morning, switch to whichever is lowest in sugar, if you eat white bread, swap it out for whole grain etc, you get the idea. Once you've done that you can start to assess where you need to make some bigger changes but that's certainly a good starting point. It's much easier to make some smarter choices for a couple of weeks while you decide where you're really going to make some bigger nutrition changes. It'll also help you get in the right frame of mind. Overly simple advice maybe but I'm happy to chime in with some more specifics if and when you need, sure other here will do the same. Good luck!
