Just wondering what everyone else does?

I didn't used to count them but I do these days as I've found that they add up over the course of a day!

When I'm counting I do, although tbh they don't come to much! Well, they do, but you get a lot more veg for your calories than you do other foods iykwim?

I have not counted in a very long time but when I did count, I counted everything. I was spending a good bit of time learning what has which calories, what makes a better snack and so on. Once you can get past that initial learning curve you will love it!

I don't really count vegetables towards calories, but I do make sure I keep track of anything I add in like butter, cheese, or salad dressings. My veggies are freebies.

When I've previously done cals I always counted them. They really do add up!

I don't count salad vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers. I figure those are all pretty low and it's the dressings and other things we top a salad with that bring the calorie count up. I do count cooked vegetables that are part of a recipe with other ingredients because those usually have more calories than just a plain raw vegetable does.

I've never considered counting vegetable calories. They are something I'd never consider removing from my diet even if the calories were high. I know they are bound to add up, but each days' calories are used up on that day so they've never really worried me.

I'm another one who has never bothered to count veggies. When I am following the Weight Watchers program we don't count calories or carbs. Veggies are freebies. So I never got in the habit.

I agree with you Lillian. I consider veggies to be freebies. I'm not sure I'd feel the same if I was a vegetarian. If all I could eat were vegetables, I'd have to count the calories or else there would be nothing at all to count.

I used to be a vegetarian many years ago. I ate a lot of dairy, nuts, breads, fruits, eggs, rice, pasta, and vegetables. It was such a high carb diet that the calories could really get away from you if you're not careful.
