The shop next to me does fresh bread every 3 hours through the day. So sometimes I would walk down, get a loaf of french bread straight out of the oven, come home and eat it with lashings of butter.
Yep, I'm pretty confident that's where most of my weight came from!
Potatoes I crave too. I allow myself to have pasta once a week so tonight we had a healthy, low-fat vegetable lasagne and I limited myself to one small helping.

I love warm bread! I went thru a phase of trying to be frugal and make my own, but I always ate half a loaf as soon as it came out the oven!

Potatoes are the carbs that I miss the most, but I have learned to make a lot of things with grated cauliflower as a substitute and that helps.

I used to be a potato junkie. Chips were my favorite so I miss them the most. I also miss potatoes mashed, creamed, roasted, grilled, wedged or cooked in any manner.

I could quite easily sit and eat a whole bowl of mashed potato on its own - no need for anything else - but I have been limiting myself to a portion that's two ice cream scoops sized any time we have it. It's hard though, even though I'm still having some, I miss the buttery, creamy, fluffy goodness!

I can't stand mash my mum craved it when pregnant with my sister and I got rather sick of it! My dad used to have to put food colouring in it
I'm missing chips big time! We were at a car boot earlier and I so wanted some!
