How do you record calories?

I have no idea how many calories I have a day. It's probably one of the reasons I struggle with my weight. I want to keep a record what I have and how many calories it has but I can see it being a nightmare. How does everyone else keep track on what they eat? Even if I do manage to remember what I've eaten by the end of the day I then have to go and research calories in it.

Surely there has to be an easier way?

btw just noticed this forum doesn't have many threads. Is it a new forum or does no one else calorie count?

I use myfitnesspal. You can go on the website or use the app. I find it really useful as it contains the nutrition details of most foods out there

I'm not sure if they have an app for android but I would think that they do as it's quite a popular site.
Yes, you just type in what you've eaten or you can scan the barcode on the food packet if you're doing it via your phone

MFP is brill, it's so handy with the barcode scanner. It also works out how many calories you should be consuming for the best weight loss, with your weight, height and level of activity
oh and yeah the forums pretty new

I've got a notebook and I write down what I have to eat in the day, food and drink. Not every day mind cos sometimes I forget or if I mess up the day with junk, I dont bother recording.
