Can you lose weight by only eating frozen weight watchers meals?

It's just a hypothetical question

Might sound a little lazy but after a hard days work sometimes (quite often) I don't want to be cooking. I rarely get to sit down with the family at tea time (maybe on a Sunday) so was thinking, can you lose weight just by eating frozen weight watchers meals (maybe subsidised by a bag salad LOL)?

Is it healthy? I'm guessing it must be if they are advertised as diet replacements?

Not actually tried any yet. May pick a few up. Has anyone else tried them? Do they taste ok?

I like the WW meals and have had the odd one for lunch too. Really low calories/points. I can imagine some of the meals you could add extra steam veg too also... I buy the steam bags for easiness.

My favourite is the weight watchers chicken hotpot, 226 calories.

I also like the WW yogurts (some much lower in calories than mullerlights) and carrot cakes YUM!

It's definitely a handy way of not having to measure/weigh anything they are lovely, can recommend the lasagne and cottage pie and the chilli wedges one

I'm on WW and thought I'd buy more of these but I haven't but I always have some in my freezer xx

Thank you I must admit I'm not a great cook so anything is probably better than my cooking

I'm pretty sure I could live on lasagne and wedges until I lose some weight

I would say add some veg or salad with them to bulk them up a bit though, makes it a little more filling

When I first started WW years ago that's all I ate and lost it pretty quickly. My SIL is doing WW at the minute and she only eats pre pointed things, she lost 1st within 6-7wks and is now struggling to lose anything more. I'd probably say they're ok every now and again but not for everyday. Definitely add veg or salad to though

Theoretically you certainly could. Though they are super high in sodium, so keep that in mind when you're weighing in. And I agree, adding your own veggies/fruits/salads will help give your body more of what it needs. They are so super convenient, but definitely not ideal nutrition as a consistent source of food without supplementing.

I have bought them for easy lunches to take along with me to work, but I have never tried to live off of them. I don't really think that's the best route to take. Even just thinking of the money spent on frozen processed food, you could buy fresh food and get a lot more of it for the same price.

The fact that they are processed and frozen puts them no my not-so-healthy list. I've tried them and I find them very convenient, but I love my food fresh.
