Pasta dried is syn FREE

Pasta fresh is not

Why is this? Makes no sense.

Because there is usually some form of oil on the pasta to help keep it fresh.

But it's only 1.5 syns per 100g cooked, so it's not too high which is a bonus!

If you made your own pasta, no. Because you'd be using flour, which is synned, and if I remember right, you use oil or butter too?

The dried pasta has already been checked by SW with the ingredients quantities, the method, etc. And they've calculated the syns for you.
