Trek bars

If someone has a moment to look it up, could I please have the syn value for the peanut power trek bar? Bought two at Aldi today as I couldn't resist but I'm waiting to eat them just in case they're as high as the Nakd bars.

As a general rule of thumb, yes, but some things differ. Like, something that could be quite high in calories could actually be low in syns if it has a lot of protein, fibre etc. A friend actually gave me the syn value now, which is 10 for these particular ones.

Sorry kaybird, only just seen you original post!

And Emaline, like kaybird said, somethings can be calculated by using the 20 cals = 1 syn rule, but it's best applied to crisps, chocolate, sweets, etc. that have absolutely no free foods in them.
Sometimes these kind of snack bars have a low syn value, but it seems that the Trek ones don't!

It's a shame, because while it was tasty and filling, with lots of protein and fruit-based sugars that are slower release, it's not tasty enough that I'd want to save the syns for it. Luckily today I ended up with them to spare, but when it's a choice between 10syns on a trek bar or 6syns on a curly wurly, I know which one I'm going to pick. Boyfriend suggested using them as a post gym snack, but since the Arla protein pots have double the protein and they're a tenth of the syn value, it just makes more sense. It's a shame, because the banana trek bars are heavenly.
