Syns are used in the Slimming World plan.
The SW plan uses lots of free foods (fruit, veg, meats, pasta, rice, beans, etc.) and then there are Syns. Syns are for things that have little or no free value, e.g. Butter, chocolate, alcohol, crisps, oils, cakes, etc.
You get a certain amount of Syns per day to use on the non-free foods.
